Authorities have confirmed that human remains found in the Tasmanian wilderness are likely those of Celine Cremer, a Belgian traveler. The 31-year-old was last seen on June 17, 2023, in Waratah, Tasmania. Investigations suggest she disappeared after embarking on a bushwalk at Philosopher Falls.

Commander Nathan Johnston of Tasmania Police announced that expert evaluations provided strong evidence linking the remains to Cremer. The police have stated they will not initiate further searches of the Arthur River area.
Details of Celine Cremer’s Disappearance
Cremer’s vehicle, a Honda CRV, was located in a parking lot, indicating she may have lost her way while returning. Last month, a bushwalker stumbled upon human remains believed to be connected to her case, prompting renewed investigative efforts.

- Five additional bones were discovered.
- Two teeth were also located during the search.
- A Honda car key was found alongside the remains.
