Harrison Sait, a dedicated young footballer, has achieved his dream of joining Norwich City’s U10 Academy at the age of 10. His passion for football ignited when he began playing at just four years old. Over the past six years, he has honed his skills while representing multiple teams, including Dereham Stripes U9 and Sprowston Hawks U10.

Living near Dereham, Harrison recently celebrated scoring what he considers his most significant goal. “I am really, really, really happy,” he expressed after receiving the coveted Canaries shirt. With his unwavering dedication, Harrison trained intensively, sometimes even practicing seven days a week.

Football Journey in Early Years

Harrison’s football foundations were established at Fakenham Mini Kickers, where he started at the age of four. His dedication allowed him to play for various teams across the county, totaling seven different clubs. Notably, his journey included a stint with Norwich City Select, a program facilitated by academy coaches and prompted by scout recommendations.

Path to Norwich City U10 Academy

  • Start of Football Journey: Initiated at Fakenham Mini Kickers at four years old.
  • Teams Played For: Dereham Stripes U9, Sprowston Hawks U10, and more.
  • Trial Stages: Participated in Norwich City Select from February to October 2025.
  • West Ham Trial: Left Norwich City Select for a trial at West Ham.
  • Norwich City Offer: Received an offer for an eight-week trial after seven weeks of training.

Harrison’s father, Mr. Sait, expressed immense pride in his son’s achievements. “It just goes to show that all the hard work you put in over the early years can lead to something special,” he said. He also expressed gratitude towards the coaches who contributed to Harrison’s growth as a player.
