INDIA Bloc MPs to Meet Kharge, Strategize for Budget Session
INDIA bloc MPs are scheduled to convene on Wednesday at 10 AM. This meeting aims to strategize for the upcoming Budget Session for 2026-27, which begins today. Key Issues on the Agenda
The INDIA bloc is set to address several critical issues during the Budget Session. Primary among these is the potential replacement of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) with the Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) or VB-G RAM G Act. Another significant matter is the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll.
