Akon began his career in 2004 with the release of his album “Trouble.” He gained widespread fame between 2006 and 2007 with his sophomore album “Konvicted,” which included chart-topping singles like “I Wanna Love You” and “Don’t Matter.” His latest works, “El Negreeto” and “Akonda,” were released in 2019 after a lengthy hiatus.
