Virginia Tech has unveiled its football schedule for the 2026 season, featuring a compelling mix of home and away games. This nine-game Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) lineup includes several high-profile matchups and occasions for fans to engage with the team on Friday nights.
2026 Virginia Tech Football Schedule Highlights
The Hokies kick off their season at Lane Stadium, starting with a home game against VMI on September 5. Following that, they will face Old Dominion at home on September 12.
The team’s first away game is on September 19, where they will challenge Maryland in College Park. This will be succeeded by an ACC matchup at Boston College on September 26.
Home and Away Matchups
In October, Virginia Tech will host its first home conference game on the 2nd, featuring a Friday night contest against Pittsburgh. The Hokies will then hit the road on October 10, heading to California for their next game, before welcoming Georgia Tech to Blacksburg on October 17.
