Delhi Police Mobilize 10,000 Officers, AI Surveillance for Republic Day Security
The Delhi Police have implemented comprehensive security protocols for the upcoming Republic Day celebrations. This plan includes the deployment of approximately 10,000 police officers throughout the New Delhi area. Officials aim to ensure safety for all participants and spectators during this significant national event.
Record Security Measures for Republic Day
According to Additional Commissioner of Police, Devesh Kumar Mahala, stringent security measures have been introduced. These measures encompass various checkpoints, barricades, and other operational procedures necessary for maintaining safety.

Advanced Surveillance Technologies

The integration of AI glasses allows officers to detect matches with their databases in crowded environments. If a person’s face corresponds to a record, authorities can respond immediately.
The security setup also includes various layers of barricading and thorough checks at entry points. Additionally, mobile surveillance vehicles equipped with FRS technology will be positioned at strategic sites throughout the area.
