San Casciano in Val di Pesa is currently celebrating the legacy of Tito Chelazzi, an iconic 19th-century florist painter. The Giuliano Ghelli Civic Museum is hosting a remarkable exhibition titled “Con l’occhio del botanico,” which focuses on the intersection of floral art, science, and Tuscan identity. Running until March 1, the exhibition features approximately forty never-before-seen works by Chelazzi, who was born in 1834 and passed away in 1892.
