“Proof,” written by David Auburn, is a Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning play. It revolves around Catherine, played by Edebiri, the daughter of a brilliant mathematics professor, Robert, portrayed by Cheadle. The story unfolds as a crucial notebook with groundbreaking discoveries is found after Robert’s death, stirring personal and emotional conflicts.
