During the season, three different quarterbacks took the field. Joe Flacco began the season as the starter for the first four games. Tommy Rees: A Brief Background
This marked Tommy Rees’ second stint in the NFL. Previously, he served as an offensive assistant with the then-San Diego Chargers in 2016, helping the team achieve a top-10 scoring offense. Rees gained much of his experience at the collegiate level, most recently as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of Alabama in 2023, leading them to an SEC championship and a College Football Playoff semifinal appearance.
