Bradenton Motorcyclist Dies After Crash Ejection and SUV Collision
A 57-year-old Bradenton man died early Sunday after a motorcycle crash on U.S. 19 in Manatee County, Florida. Florida Highway Patrol identified the rider and confirmed the fatality at the scene.
Crash details
The collision occurred around midnight in the eastbound lanes. It happened just west of Hightower Road.
Investigators said the motorcyclist was traveling in the left lane when he lost control. The bike veered onto the shoulder and overturned, causing a crash ejection.
The rider was thrown from the motorcycle and came to rest in the roadway. Moments later, an eastbound SUV struck him during a separate SUV collision.
