Disney Park Guests Enjoy Rare Price Drop on Key Attraction
Disney quietly reduced the price of a popular skip-the-line add-on at Walt Disney World. Fans noticed the Lightning Lane Multi Pass fell from $45 on April 3 to $35 per person recently.
The change represents about a 22 percent drop, according to Inside The Magic. Disney has not publicly promoted the adjustment.
Many Disney park guests are seeing a rare price drop on a key attraction add-on. Observant visitors should consider the lower cost while it lasts.
Park-by-park pricing and family cost
WDW Magic’s daily tracker showed the Multi Pass at $37 for Magic Kingdom on Monday. Other parks listed lower rates, such as $26 at EPCOT and $32 at Hollywood Studios.
A family of four would pay $148 for the Magic Kingdom Multi Pass on that day. The total highlights how quickly add-ons can increase trip costs.
What the Lightning Lane Multi Pass covers
The Lightning Lane Multi Pass lets guests skip the main line for three attractions. It was formerly known as Genie+.
Popular examples include Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain. Disney also sells single-ride Lightning Lane and a Premier pass for one-time access to each ride at a park.
Why prices may have fallen
The decrease likely follows the end of spring break travel. Disney parks are busiest during school breaks, when demand peaks.
With fewer visitors, Disney appears to have adjusted the add-on pricing. The fluctuation aligns with the company’s demand-driven approach.
Broader ticket price changes coming
Disney announced last fall that single-day ticket prices will rise after October 2026. The company said average single-day admission will increase by about $5.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $119 to $174.
- EPCOT: $129 to $194.
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $139 to $194.
- Magic Kingdom: $139 to $199.
Disney expects holiday ticket prices around Thanksgiving and Christmas 2026 to exceed $200 per person. These ranges reflect dynamic pricing by park and date.
