Palmeiras Restricts Interviews After Abel Ferreira’s Suspension
Palmeiras will not hold a post-match press conference after the game against Athletico on Sunday, the club confirmed. The decision follows the same media stance used in the Corinthians derby.
Coaching suspension
Coach Abel Ferreira received an eight-game ban after expulsions in matches against São Paulo and Fluminense. The punishment was later reduced to seven games. He still must serve four matches of that suspension.
