Top College Football QB Recruit Reveals Final Two School Choices
Elijah Haven will announce his college decision on April 25. Rivals lists him as the No. 1 quarterback and the No. 11 overall prospect in the 2027 class. Hayes Fawcett of Rivals reported he has narrowed his choices to a pair of SEC programs.

He also contributed to Dunham’s basketball team, which reached state semifinals twice. 247Sports scouting director Andrew Ivins compared Haven’s physical traits to those of veteran pro quarterbacks.
Alabama
Alabama offered Haven in June 2025. He has visited the Crimson Tide five times.
The most recent visit came for Alabama’s A-Day game on April 11. A commit to Alabama would continue the program’s focus on top-level quarterbacks.
Alabama already holds a commitment from four-star quarterback Trent Seaborn in the 2027 class. Seaborn is an in-state prospect and ranks among the top 20 quarterbacks in the cycle.
Georgia
Haven earned his Georgia offer after attending a Bulldogs camp in June 2025. His only official visit to Athens came in mid-November for Georgia’s game against Texas.
Georgia lost five-star Jared Curtis in the 2026 early signing period, when Curtis flipped to Vanderbilt. The Bulldogs added Bryson Beaver from the transfer portal in January to bolster depth at quarterback.
Decision timeline and stakes
The 2027 prospect’s announcement on April 25 will close a long recruitment cycle. As a top college football QB recruit, his final two school choices will draw national attention.
Filmogaz.com will monitor the decision and its implications for both SEC programs. The choice could reshape quarterback room outlooks for Alabama and Georgia.
