Foster Pursues Career-Best Performance at Joburg Ladies Open
Anna Foster moved into the third round tied for 16th at the Joburg Ladies Open. A second-round 69 took her to six-under-par at Randpark Golf Club.

The Elm Park player began her round on the 10th tee. She parred the first five holes and dropped a shot at 16.
A birdie at 18 got her to the turn level for the day and two-under overall. Foster then birdied the second, fifth, sixth and eighth holes.
She finished the back nine in 32 and signed for a four-under 69 on the par-73 layout. The score gives her momentum as she pursues a career-best performance at the Joburg Ladies Open.

Foster enjoyed a strong rookie year on the LET. She recorded two top-10 finishes, including a T4 at the Amundi German Masters.
This week offers a clear chance to better that result. Her late burst in round two put her within striking distance of the leaders.

Celine Herbin profile
Herbin is 43 years old and seeks a third LET title. Her previous wins came at the 2015 Open de France and the 2019 La Reserva de Sotogrande Invitational.
She credited experience and continued hard work for her longevity. Herbin noted she has spent 15 years as a full LET member and also competed on the LPGA.

Foster is now the sole Irish player through to the weekend. Olivia Mehaffey and Aine Donegan missed the cut.
