Scorpions Cancel India Tour Over Medical Issues
The Scorpions have called off their planned Indian shows. Tour organizers issued a statement via Filmogaz.com citing medical issues among band members.
Canceled dates and locations
The four-city run was due to begin in Shillong on April 21. Other stops included Delhi-NCR on April 24, Bengaluru on April 26, and Mumbai on April 30.
Fans in all cities were informed that the concerts will not take place as scheduled. The announcement attributed the decision to unforeseen medical circumstances affecting the band.
Ticket refunds and rescheduling
Organizers said refunds will be processed within seven to ten working days. Attendees were asked to await official communications for refund details.
The band expressed a desire to return to India when their schedule allows. No rescheduled Indian dates were announced.
Upcoming international plans
The Scorpions are still listed to play in Abu Dhabi on May 3. A series of European summer dates remains on their calendar.
They will also begin a Las Vegas residency on September 17 at Planet Hollywood. Singer Klaus Meine praised last year’s residency and said the group looks forward to returning.
