Balance of Power: the rules
The challenge used two pits and eleven balance paddles. Each celebrity had to steady a paddle to stop a ball falling into a pit.
Dropping a ball meant elimination. The task proved to be an endurance contest rather than a skill test.
As darkness fell, most contestants still held their positions. Eliminated campmates tried to distract those still balancing.
The group later agreed to deliberately drop paddles to let one person win. It remained unclear if Ashley would be given that final chance.
Series background and finale plans
The current all-stars series was pre-recorded in South Africa. Producers filmed the latest scenes around seven months ago.
By contrast, the original I’m a Celebrity runs live from Australia each November and December. This special series will conclude with a live London finale.
The two-part finale airs on April 24, 2026. ITV1 and ITVX will broadcast from 7.30pm until 9pm, with the winner announced at 10pm.
The full celebrity cast will reunite for the live show. The public will have the opportunity to vote for this year’s I’m a Celebrity legend, Filmogaz.com reports.
