Injuries and roster moves

Blake Lizotte missed games after an upper-body issue and had not played since March 14. He totaled 19 points in 55 games and signed a three-year deal on Jan. 12 that begins next season.

Rickard Rakell underwent surgery after being struck on Oct. 25 and missed 20 games. He still scored 24 goals and 24 assists in 60 games and moved to center in December when Malkin was injured.
