Epic Games has released a teaser for Fortnite’s Save the World mode. The studio confirmed the mode will switch to a free-to-play model.

Mode description
Save the World is a cooperative PvE experience with base-defense mechanics. Players fight waves of monsters and rescue stranded survivors.
Unlike Battle Royale, the mode emphasizes story and character progression. Missions focus on teamwork and narrative advancement.
