Bruce Willis’ Former Benedict Canyon Home Sells for $41 Million
Bruce Willis is once again tied to a headline after a Benedict Canyon property formerly linked to him sold for $41.3 million, Filmogaz.com has learned.
The transaction worked out to about $2,806 per square foot. The nearly 100-year-old estate sits on close to an acre.
Property details
The house contains 10 bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The living area totals roughly 14,700 square feet.
- Lot: nearly one acre.
- Size: about 14,700 square feet.
- Rooms: 10 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms.
- Price: $41.3 million (roughly $2,806 per sq ft).
Sale and sellers
The sellers are Guess CEO Carlos Alberini and his wife, Andrea Alberini. Property records list them as the sellers.
The Alberinis acquired the home in 2014 from a trust tied to Bruce Willis for $16.5 million. They then completed extensive interior and exterior renovations.
Representation and brokerage
Listing agents were Jon Grauman, Adam Rosenfeld, and Bennett Bidwell of Resident Group. The brokerage declined to comment.
Carl Gambino and John Bercsi of the Gambino Group at Compass represented the buyer. Their team declined comment through a spokesperson.
Resident Group launched last year with leadership that includes Jon and Lauren Grauman and Adam Rosenfeld. The firm started with about $900 million in inventory and a 15-agent roster.
Market context
The sale ranks as Los Angeles County’s second-priciest residential deal this year. It follows a $47 million off-market sale at 1111 Calle Vista Drive.
That Calle Vista Drive trade recorded about $4,569 per square foot. Other recent Benedict Canyon moves include Rick Caruso’s former home selling for $47.5 million last July.
Another notable sale last year was 2650 Benedict Canyon Drive. That property sold for $28 million and was once owned by Gene Simmons.
The closing marks a strong return on the Alberinis’ 2014 purchase. The deal underscores continued demand at the high end of the Los Angeles market.
