Sky has moved into home security with a new lineup of smart devices. The range includes a Smart Doorbell, an Indoor Camera, and sensor packs for motion and leaks.
Product lineup and capabilities
The Smart Doorbell records 1080p video. It supports night vision and live streaming through Sky’s Smart Home app.
The Indoor Camera also streams and records up to 1080p. Additional cameras can be added for broader coverage.
Sensors and packs
The Motion Pack includes window sensors and a motion detector. It is sold as a one-off purchase.
The Leak Pack adds water-leak detection. Both packs extend basic security beyond cameras.
Pricing and subscription structure
Sky offers a Smart Home Plan that provides 30 days of cloud video recording and smart alerts. That plan costs £5 per month with a £15 upfront fee.
The entry plan includes the Smart Doorbell and a wireless chime for the home. A larger bundle costs £8 per month with a £20 upfront fee.
The £8 bundle bundles the Doorbell, the Smart Home Plan, and one Indoor Camera. Extra Indoor Cameras are available for a fixed price each.
