Hailey Bieber Shares Nostalgic ‘Bootylicious’ Clip Featuring Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber makes his Coachella headlining debut Saturday night, and promoters expect a record crowd. He told fans on a Halloween Twitch stream he was “super excited” for the slot.

Bieber said he had always dreamed of performing at Coachella. He called the desert setting magical and one of his favorite places.

Hailey Bieber shared a nostalgic ‘Bootylicious’ clip of Justin Bieber earlier Saturday. The throwback shows a preteen Justin singing “I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly” and flubbing the chorus end.

Brand presence on the grounds

Bieber’s SKYLRK brand has a major footprint at Coachella this year. The festival features a 10,000-square-foot SKYLRK Oasis in the heart of the grounds.

A SKYLRK Shop sits adjacent to the Oasis. The installations have already drawn attention ahead of his set.

Set focus and recent performances

On his Halloween stream, Bieber said he will center his set on SWAG and SWAG II. Those albums were released last July and last September, respectively.

He plans to merge older songs into the performance where possible. His genre-bending SWAG earned four Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year.

Bieber delivered a stripped-back performance of “YUKON” at the Grammys on Feb. 1. In recent weeks, he staged invite-only surprise shows at The Roxy and The Troubadour in Los Angeles.

Those intimate gigs served as warm-ups. They marked the first time he ran through the SWAG and SWAG II tracklists live.

Dates and expected runtime

Bieber will headline on Saturday, April 11, and again on Saturday, April 18. Each set is expected to run about 90 minutes.
