Natasha Lyonne Escorted Off Delta Flight Post ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Premiere
Natasha Lyonne was escorted off a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York late Sunday. The removal followed her appearance at the Euphoria Season 3 premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
Onboard disturbance and crew response
Passengers said Lyonne was seated in first class. She wore the same wraparound sunglasses and black stockings seen on the red carpet, with sneakers and a long coat.
Flight attendants asked her to stow a laptop and buckle her seatbelt for takeoff. They tried repeatedly when she did not respond, according to eyewitnesses.
Return to the gate
The aircraft taxied toward the runway but then returned to the gate. A Delta representative boarded and asked whether Lyonne needed medical attention.
Crew members told her the flight would not depart until she disembarked. She asked where the plane was and was informed it was still in Los Angeles.
Passenger behavior and deplaning
Witnesses said Lyonne appeared drowsy behind her sunglasses and at one point reacted with a startled exclamation. Staff removed her laptop and later her luggage.
She briefly used the lavatory before walking off the jetway. She ate a bag of pretzels while leaving, and personnel escorted her from the aircraft.
Crew announcement and flight delay
After about an hour’s delay, the captain addressed passengers. He explained that a traveler had not followed crew directions and would be rebooked on another flight.
The flight later departed with Lyonne’s first-class seat empty. A representative for the star did not respond to requests for comment.
Context and recent statements
Lyonne had joined the Euphoria Season 3 premiere on the red carpet alongside co-stars including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi and Sydney Sweeney. She had earlier worn an eye-catching sheer top for the event.
In January she disclosed a relapse and later posted that she was “doing a whole lot better” and back on her feet. She also thanked recovery communities and supportive fans.
Career note
Lyonne is known for leading roles in Russian Doll and for appearances in Poker Face. The incident comes amid her public updates about sobriety.
