UFL 2026 Week 2: Renegades, Gamblers, Storm, Defenders Claim Victory

Week 2 concluded Tuesday with Dallas beating St. Louis 31-15. Filmogaz.com reviews the weekend slate. The week produced two unbeaten teams and one champion returning to the win column.

Game-by-game highlights

DC Defenders vs. Columbus Aviators

DC regained momentum with a 41-20 victory. The defending champions converted several turnovers into points.

Jordan Ta’amu completed 8 of 11 passes for 99 yards and a touchdown. Deon Jackson ran 11 times for 97 yards and three rushing scores.

Columbus’ Jalan McClendon threw for 157 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed eight times for 55 yards and a touchdown.

Two third-quarter fumbles by Columbus swung the game. DC scored off both miscues and built a decisive lead.

Columbus now sits 0-2. Next week the Defenders host the Gamblers. The Aviators visit Dallas on Sunday.

Orlando Storm vs. Louisville Kings

Orlando closed a low-scoring game with a 19-9 win. The Storm improved to 2-0 on the young season.

Quarterback Jack Plummer was 18-for-23 for 182 yards and two touchdown passes. KJ Hamler hauled in a 41-yard touchdown before halftime.

Elijhah Badger added a big-play receiving touchdown. Louisville’s Chandler Rogers finished 13 of 20 for 151 yards.

Both defenses forced many punts and field goals early. Orlando sealed the win with a fourth-quarter touchdown.

The teams meet again in Week 3, this time in Louisville.

Houston Gamblers vs. Birmingham Stallions

Houston escaped with a 22-20 road win. The Gamblers delivered a game-winning field goal in the final minutes.

Nolan Henderson completed 15 of 23 passes for 186 yards. Jontre Kirklin caught five passes for 85 yards.

Birmingham’s Matt Corral went 21-for-27 for 226 yards and two touchdowns. Multiple Stallions receivers posted strong target numbers.

Early miscues defined the opening period. The fourth quarter featured lead changes and a late Stallions touchdown with a three-point conversion.

Houston finished the drive with a methodical march and a walk-off field goal. Next week the Gamblers travel to face DC. Birmingham visits St. Louis.

Dallas Renegades vs. St. Louis Battlehawks

Dallas remained unbeaten with a 31-15 victory. Austin Reed threw four touchdown passes to lead the Renegades.

Reed completed 22 of 36 attempts for 240 yards. Tyler Vaughns caught 11 passes for 146 yards and three scores.

St. Louis’ Brandon Silvers was 22-for-39 for 186 yards. Hakeem Butler led Battlehawks receiving with 56 yards.

Dallas built an early lead and extended it with a long fourth-quarter drive. A late turnover ended St. Louis’ comeback hopes.

The Renegades host Columbus next Sunday. St. Louis returns home to face Birmingham in Week 3.
