Coach Ryan Huska confirmed Blake Coleman is away from the club for the birth of his child. Kevin Bahl returned to Calgary for evaluation.
Bahl will not play in either of the final two games on the Flames’ six-game road trip. He exited in the first period of a 4-3 overtime loss at Dallas.

Coach Jared Bednar said Kadri will miss multiple games with a finger injury. The team hopes he returns before the Stanley Cup Playoffs begin next weekend.

The Avalanche are without top defenseman Cale Makar due to an upper-body issue. Nazem Kadri left Tuesday’s 3-1 win at St. Louis.
Calgary has several players unavailable. Huberdeau is recovering from hip surgery.
