2026 OLIVIER AWARDS Unveils Presenters and Performances with Cunard

The 2026 Olivier Awards will mark the ceremony’s 50th anniversary this Sunday, 12 April. It will take place at the Royal Albert Hall and will be hosted by Nick Mohammed.

Presenters

A star-studded group of presenters will hand out the awards. The line-up mixes stage and screen talent.

  • Adjoa Andoh will appear as a presenter.
  • Monica Barbaro will present while appearing in Les Liaisons Dangereuses at the National Theatre.
  • Danielle de Niese will present; she is this year’s Outstanding Contribution to Opera recipient.
  • Amelia Dimoldenberg, creator of Chicken Shop Date, will join the presenting team.
  • Minnie Driver and Ambika Mod will present after recent appearances in Every Brilliant Thing at @sohoplace.
  • David Harewood will present; his production of Othello is now in cinemas.
  • Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber will take part in presenting duties.
  • Sir Wayne McGregor will present and is this year’s Outstanding Contribution to Dance recipient.
  • Sir Ian McKellen and Dame Helen Mirren will present as ambassadors for Denville Hall.
  • Richard Osman will appear as a presenter; he is a novelist and podcaster.
  • Dame Arlene Phillips will present and serve as Stage Director for the ceremony.
  • Aaron Pierre and Olivia Williams will present while appearing in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest at The Old Vic.
  • Johannes Radebe will present; he stars in Kinky Boots at the London Coliseum.
  • Sam Ryder will present ahead of his West End debut in Jesus Christ Superstar at the London Palladium.
  • Russell Tovey will present while starring in the upcoming The Guilty at the Donmar Warehouse.
  • Vanessa Williams will present; she stars in The Devil Wears Prada at the Dominion Theatre.
  • Matt Willis will present and currently stars in Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club.

Performances

The ceremony will feature performances from several nominated musicals. Cunard sponsors segments that highlight new work.

  • The Cunard Best New Musical nominees include Paddington The Musical, Shucked and The Unlikely Pilgrimage Of Harold Fry.
  • Best Musical Revival nominees performing include Evita, Into The Woods and The Producers.
  • The show will open with a performance celebrating 40 years of Cameron Mackintosh’s Phantom Of The Opera.
  • The finale will mark 20 years of Wicked in the West End.

Broadcast and access

The ceremony airs on BBC Two and iPlayer at 7pm on 12 April. BBC Radio 2 will run a special two-hour show from 8pm to 10pm, hosted by Jo Whiley.

International viewers can watch a highlights programme on Official London Theatre’s YouTube channel from 7pm BST. Coverage will include performances and exclusive interviews.
