Amazon Prime Video Unveils Three Innovations for Masters 2026 Coverage
Amazon Prime Video will join Masters coverage at Augusta National in 2026. The streamer unveiled three innovations designed to expand how fans watch the tournament.
Expanded live window
Amazon will add two extra hours of live coverage on Thursday and Friday. The new window runs from 1-3 p.m. ET during the first two rounds.
Terry Gannon will host from Butler Cabin. The broadcast will mix live play with interviews and special guests.
Jack Nicklaus will appear to mark the 40th anniversary of his 1986 Masters victory. The segment is part of the broader Masters 2026 coverage.
Inside Amen Corner: a data-driven feed
The streamer is launching ‘Inside Amen Corner.’ This alternative feed will focus on stats and strategy at the tournament’s most famous stretch.
Jared Stacy will oversee production. He is Amazon’s Head of Global Live Sports Production and has built data-driven feeds for Thursday Night Football and NASCAR.
The on-air team will include Justin Kutcher, Geoff Ogilvy, John Wood and Smylie Kaufman. The stream will show advanced stats, shot traces and new camera angles.
‘Inside Amen Corner’ will air from 10:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET on Thursday and Friday. It will run 11:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET on Saturday and Sunday.
Across the four days, the feed will deliver more than 20 hours of live coverage. The goal is to deepen fans’ understanding of player strategy there.
New highlight options
Amazon will also debut two highlight features for Masters viewers. They are called ‘Rapid Recap’ and ‘Key Moments.’
‘Rapid Recap’ will provide a curated package of top plays. ‘Key Moments’ will let viewers pick and replay specific shots.
‘Key Moments’ will update in real time. Each clip will include a description and relevant shot information.
Context and expectations
