Stern Grove Festival Features Public Enemy, Al Green, Goapele & More
The long-running Stern Grove Festival returns to San Francisco on June 14 for its 89th season. The free concert series opens with Indian psychedelic indie act Peter Cat Recording Co.
San Francisco band Marinero will serve as the opener for the June 14 show. The series runs on Sundays through August at Sigmund Stern Grove.

Venue and attendance
Shows take place in the eucalyptus-lined amphitheater at Sigmund Stern Grove. The site welcomes roughly 10,000 fans each Sunday.
The festival mixes established legends, buzzworthy bands, and local artists. Programming aims to serve diverse musical tastes.
Tickets and entry
Admission is free but requires secured tickets. A lottery system manages access to each performance.
The lottery opens six weeks before a show. Fans have one week to enter and may win up to four tickets.
