Las Vegas MagicCon 2026: Festival Box Contents Unveiled
Wizards of the Coast has revealed the contents of its Festival in a Box ahead of Las Vegas MagicCon 2026. The first details came via the Magic: The Gathering newsletter this week.
Box contents
The festival box pairs a Mystery Booster 2 Display Booster with exclusive promos. It also includes a themed Secret Lair drop called Viva Las Rakdos.

Promo card specifics
Two promos appear as traditional foil retro frame copies. The cards are Consecrated Sphinx and Counterspell. A third promo listed is a test card titled In Residence.
Viva Las Rakdos Secret Lair
The Secret Lair drop shows five reimagined cards with Rakdos-themed art. The cards are Talisman of Indulgence, Dark Petition, Lightning Greaves, Beseech the Mirror, and Light Up the Stage.
Release and purchase instructions
Festival in a Box will be sold through the Secret Lair Marketplace starting April 13. Shoppers must visit the product page at 8 AM PT and sign in with a Wizards Account.
Adding the product to a cart will enter buyers into the pre-queue. The Secret Lair product page remained under construction at the time of the newsletter.
Event information
MagicCon in Las Vegas runs May 1-3, 2026. The festival box release is timed ahead of the convention.
