Sony Unveils The Playerbase: Scan Players into PlayStation Games

Sony Interactive Entertainment has launched a new initiative called “The Playerbase.” This program allows PlayStation fans the opportunity to have their likeness scanned and integrated into PlayStation games, beginning with the popular title, Gran Turismo 7.

The Playerbase Overview

The Playerbase aims to celebrate the community by recognizing dedicated PlayStation users. The program is set to initially launch with Gran Turismo 7 and will expand to include additional titles from various PlayStation Studios in the future.

10:00 a.m. ET

The initiative will be available in selected markets:

Americas
Europe
Asia
South Africa
Australia

Selection Process

Participants can apply to be part of this unique experience. A limited number of applicants will be chosen for interviews via video calls, where they will discuss their passion for PlayStation. Ultimately, one fan will be selected to feature in Gran Turismo 7.

An in-game character portrait appearing in Gran Turismo 7.
Design of a custom Fantasy Logo and a unique vehicle livery.
