Scarlett Moffatt’s Uneasy Return to I’m A Celeb Camp

Scarlett Moffatt says her second stint in the jungle was tougher than she expected. The former Gogglebox star described camp life as more intense and less peaceful than during her first visit.

The 35-year-old won the ITV series in 2016. She returned for the all-star I’m A Celebrity… South Africa spin-off alongside well-known names.

Camp dynamics and co-stars

Moffatt shared the camp with Gemma Collins, Sir Mo Farah and Ashley Roberts. A photocall also featured Beverley Callard and Sinitta.

Other campmates include Harry Redknapp, Seann Walsh, David Haye and Craig Charles. Former footballer Jimmy Bullard and actor Adam Thomas are also part of the line-up.

Hosts and format changes

Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly return to present. The new series is pre-recorded, with one key live element added.

The public will vote in a live London grand final. The winner will be crowned the “ultimate legend 2026”.

On-camera experience and atmosphere

Moffatt said she assumed the repeat trip would be easier. She found it to be more gruelling and chaotic than anticipated.

She added the camp felt like an experiment at times. With big personalities in close quarters, tensions rose.

Moffatt admitted she sometimes forgot cameras were rolling. She noted Ant and Dec were less present during daily camp life than on previous series.
