Inter Miami CF Reveals Leo Messi Stand at New Stadium
Inter Miami CF has unveiled a dedicated stand honoring Leo Messi at its new home, Nu Stadium. The club calls the move a rare instance of an active player regularly playing where a stand bears his name.
Details of the Leo Messi stand
The tribute occupies the East Stand of Nu Stadium. It covers sections 117–121 in the Lower Bowl and 217–223 in the Upper Bowl.
The stand is built into the stadium’s unified seating bowl. Club officials say it will improve sightlines and boost crowd energy.
Fans seated in the Messi area will receive surprise activations and special moments on matchdays. The club frames the space as a unique fan experience.
What Messi has achieved with Inter Miami
Messi joined Inter Miami in the summer of 2023. He immediately became captain and a central figure on and off the field.
Under his leadership, the club won four major trophies. These were the 2023 Leagues Cup, the 2024 MLS Supporters’ Shield, the 2025 Eastern Conference title, and the 2025 MLS Cup.
On an individual level, Messi won the 2025 MLS Golden Boot with 29 goals. He finished the season with 48 goal contributions, comprising 29 goals and 19 assists.
He also won the Landon Donovan MLS Most Valuable Player award in both 2024 and 2025. That made him the first player in league history to claim the honor in consecutive seasons.
To date, Messi leads Inter Miami in both goals and assists. His club totals stand at 82 goals and 53 assists across 94 appearances.
