- Around 6:05 p.m., hail near three-quarters of an inch was reported west of West Lafayette.
- Quarter-inch hail was reported about 6:35 p.m. north of West Lafayette.

Local forecasts expect more showers and storms on Saturday. These will arrive ahead of a cold front moving into Indiana.
Isolated strong to severe storms are possible Saturday afternoon and evening. Sunday should be much cooler with breezy winds and partly sunny skies.
