Iran Condemns US-Israel for Attacking Civilian Sites, Citing ‘Moral Collapse’
President Donald Trump posted on social media that Washington has not finished targeting Iran. He warned that bridges could be struck next, followed by electric power plants. He shared footage of a strike on a new bridge linking Tehran and Karaj.
Bridge strike and casualties
The B1 bridge was hit in the attack. Iran said eight people died and 95 were wounded. The bridge had been scheduled to open later this year.

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi condemned strikes on civilian infrastructure. He said such attacks will not force Iranians to surrender.

Retaliation risks and reported strikes
State-linked media published lists of regional bridges reportedly at risk. The semiofficial Fars News Agency named crossings in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Jordan.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it struck US-linked industrial sites. It cited attacks on steel facilities in Abu Dhabi and aluminium plants in Bahrain.
Damage to health and research facilities
Iran’s health ministry reported severe damage to the Pasteur Institute of Iran. The centre conducts research on diseases including cholera and COVID-19.
Spokesperson Hossein Kermanpour called the strike an assault on international health security. He urged the WHO and the Red Cross to assess damage and help rebuild.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the Pasteur Institute was rendered unable to continue delivering services. The WHO has verified more than 20 attacks on healthcare sites in Iran since March 1.
The WHO also condemned strikes on Delaram Sina Psychiatric Hospital on March 29. It flagged damage to the Tofigh Daru pharmaceutical facility on March 31.
Military claims and cross-border exchanges
Iranian officials said air defences shot down a second US F-35 over central Iran. They added the pilot’s survival was unlikely, but the US has not commented.
Israel reported a fresh barrage of Iranian missiles and activated air defences. Emergency services said some homes and vehicles were damaged, and a Tel Aviv train station suffered shrapnel damage.
