“Survivor Season 50 Episode 6 Recap: Who Left Last Night?”

The sixth episode of season 50 produced a dramatic night of departures. A Blood Moon twist led to three eliminations on April 1.

Triple eliminations and the Blood Moon twist

The season’s 24-player format and 26-day schedule set the stage for mass eliminations. Producers used a Blood Moon twist that sent almost the entire group to tribal councils.

This Survivor Season 50 Episode 6 recap explains who left last night. The move marked the first time three contestants were voted out in a single episode.

Exile Island and the immunity challenge

Ozzy Lusth discovered a hidden advantage and won a reward that sent him to Exile Island. He chose to take Rizo Velovic with him, saving both from tribal council.

The other 15 players split into three teams of five for an endurance immunity. Contestants balanced against walls with tiny footholds. The longest hold in each group won immunity.

Immunity winners

  • Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick
  • Christian Hubicki
  • Dee Valladares

Who was voted out

Three players were sent home after their groups lost council votes. The exits included a returning legend and two former contestants.

Kamilla Karthigesu

Kamilla, who finished fourth on season 48, was blindsided in a 3-2 vote. Jonathan Young cast a pivotal swing vote that sealed her fate.

Genevieve Mushaluk

Genevieve knew she was on the outs and played her Shot in the Dark. The play failed, and all votes went against her.

Earlier in the game, she had found two Billie Eilish Boomerang Idols. After her vote-out, she privately gave her jacket to Aubry Bracco.

Colby Donaldson

Colby was voted out unanimously in an emotional tribal council. The early legend first competed 25 years ago in season two.

He had a foot injury and had lost a journey challenge in the premiere. Producers later noted he would have required medical evacuation if he had not been voted out.

Remaining players and the jury picture

Fourteen contestants remain after the Blood Moon twist. The next person voted out will become the first juror.

  • Aubry Bracco
  • Rick Devens
  • Tiffany Ervin
  • Cirie Fields
  • Emily Flippen
  • Chrissy Hofbeck
  • Christian Hubicki
  • Joe Hunter
  • Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick
  • Ozzy Lusth
  • Dee Valladares
  • Rizo Velovic
  • Benjamin “Coach” Wade
  • Jonathan Young

If the jury forms as planned, it will include 11 members. Three finalists will face the final tribal council.
