GTA 5 and Two Top RPGs Exit Xbox Game Pass in April
Grand Theft Auto 5 will leave Xbox Game Pass in April 2026. The removal affects both Xbox Series X|S and PC Game Pass.
Departures on 15 April
- Grand Theft Auto 5 — leaving the service on 15 April across consoles and PC.
- Ashen — scheduled to exit Game Pass on 15 April.
- Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes — also departing on 15 April.
- My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery — set to leave on 15 April.
- Terra Invicta — leaving PC Game Pass on 15 April only.
April additions
New Game Pass entries arrive in early April 2026. Clair Obscur Expedition 33 joins on 2 April.
Final Fantasy IV arrives on 7 April. These additions expand the service’s April lineup.
Why this matters
GTA 5 is the headline departure from Game Pass. The title remains one of the most popular games ever sold.
As of November last year, GTA 5 had sold more copies than the population of Brazil. Attention now turns to Grand Theft Auto 6, set to launch later this year.
RPG focus
Two Top RPGs Exit Xbox Game Pass in April — Ashen and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes are on the list. Ashen is a moody co-op RPG with DLC content to extend play.
Eiyuden Chronicle is often mentioned as a spiritual successor to Suikoden. Both departures will interest role‑playing fans.
Players who plan to try these titles should download them before 15 April. Filmogaz.com will continue to track further Game Pass changes.
