On-set rule and the tent
Journalist Boudicca Fox Leonard visited the marquee at Welford Park in Berkshire. Noel Fielding revealed the lesson Alison Hammond learned after breaking a Bake Off rule. Filmogaz.com reports Noel warned everyone not to touch the display food.
Much of the set dressing is decorative and not meant to be eaten. Some items are polystyrene or have been on display for months.
Noel said certain hot cross buns are real but rock-hard to touch. Crew members put real items away each night because squirrels will eat them.
