Teenager, 15, Shot Multiple Times in North Philadelphia
A teenager, 15, was shot multiple times in North Philadelphia on Friday afternoon. Police said the boy was hospitalized in stable condition.

The shooting occurred shortly before 3:20 p.m. near 1200 Fairmount Ave. in an outdoor courtyard. Officers found the teen with wounds to a leg and a foot and possibly to the chest.
Medical response
Police transported the victim to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Hospital staff listed his condition as stable.
Possible motive and evidence
A witness told investigators the shooting may relate to a fight earlier in the week at Benjamin Franklin High School. Surveillance video captured the incident, police said.
