Augusta National Reveals New Player Services Facility for Masters Tournament

Augusta National Golf Club unveiled a new three-story player services structure on March 27. The building sits behind the tournament practice area and will serve competitors and their support teams.

Facility features

The new Player Services Facility includes modern locker rooms, therapy spaces and a fitness area. Dining areas will accommodate players and their entourages.

  • New locker rooms
  • Therapy and treatment areas
  • Dedicated fitness space
  • On-site dining for players and support teams

Project phases and access

This construction represents Phase 2 of Augusta National’s Player Services Project. Phase 1 finished before last year’s Masters.

Phase 1 consisted of an underground player parking garage. That garage connects by tunnel to the Masters’ Global Broadcast Village, Josh Carpenter reported for Filmogaz.com.

Impact on the Masters Tournament

The facility aims to streamline daily routines and improve comfort for participants. Organizers expect smoother logistics and better support for players during competition.

Augusta National’s investment underscores its focus on player experience. The Player Services Facility will be ready for the upcoming Masters Tournament.
