Montgomery Students Attend Grand Prix in STEM-Focused Jackson Trip
Two students were killed and several others seriously injured after a Clarksville-Montgomery County school bus crashed Friday in Carroll County, Tennessee. The bus was carrying Kenwood Middle School students who were on a STEM-focused Jackson trip to compete at a Grand Prix event.

A parent, Suzy Butler, confirmed the group was part of a GreenpowerUSA program. About 24 students and four teachers were on board the bus.
Students had spent the school year building electric cars and carts for competition. Kenwood Middle registered teams 52 and 72 in the Int Stock Division.
