Matchups to watch
Columbus arrives with Zach Werenski as a key defender. Travis Konecny and the Flyers seek points in a tight Metropolitan race. The 7 p.m. game on Tuesday starts the doubleheader.
Connor McDavid and the Oilers open the late Tuesday slot. They face the Utah Mammoth, who are holding onto a Western Wild Card position.
Thursday’s early game features Quinn Hughes and the Minnesota Wild. They face Sam Bennett and the Florida Panthers in a Central Division test.
The late Thursday contest pits Edmonton against Mitch Marner and the Vegas Golden Knights. Both clubs are locked in a close Pacific Division battle.
Saturday’s prime-time ABC matchup sees Alex DeBrincat and the Detroit Red Wings host the Flyers. That game carries Eastern Conference Wild Card implications.
