Hosts for the evening

Hosts for the event are Krista Siegfrids and Cornald Maas. Siegfrids represented Finland at Eurovision in 2013.

Australia’s Eurovision background

Australia first joined the contest in 2015 as part of the 60-year celebrations. SBS has broadcast Eurovision to Australian viewers since 1983.

The nation’s best result remains Dami Im’s second place in 2016 with “Sound of Silence”. That performance scored 511 points, falling 23 points short of victory. Australia has finished in the top ten five times, most recently in 2023.
