Jamie Laing’s New Reality Show Unveils the Raw Journey of Parenthood
Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo open their family life to cameras in a new three-part series.
The show includes footage of baby Ziggy’s December birth and tracks their early days with a newborn.
About the series
The programme documents the couple’s attempts to conceive and Sophie’s pregnancy journey.
It then follows them as they adapt to life with a newborn and the practical challenges that follow.
Filming intimate moments
Laing, a Radio 1 presenter, said he has long recorded and documented family life.
He stressed the couple wanted honesty. They refused to stage scenes as on their earlier television work.
Habboo admitted she was surprised to find birth footage in the edit. She said parts felt private.
They kept the material because it reflects real events and the emotions they experienced.

Family on screen
Both mothers appear in the series. Habboo described Laing’s mum as having a similar energy to him.
She said the pair brought a love of cameras and big personalities to the production.
Past collaborations and media work
The couple first became known through Made In Chelsea and later presented high-profile red carpet events.
They produce podcasts, including NearlyWeds and the follow-up series NewlyWeds and NearlyParents.
Last summer, Habboo joined Laing on his Radio 1 programme while Vick Hope was on maternity leave.
Release details
Raising Chelsea will be available to stream on Disney+ from April 2.
The three-part format promises an unfiltered look at the early stages of family life.
