Masked Men Attack Ibiza Final Boss; Police Investigate Bar Incident

A man described as the Ibiza Final Boss was assaulted inside The Runhead pub on Holborn Lane in Ryton. Witnesses said four masked men entered with weapons and threw him across the bar.

Police response

Northumbria Police said officers were called at about 5.45pm on Friday. They attended after a report of affray at the premises in Gateshead.

Police said four men chased another man into the pub before the assault. Officers found no one at the scene when they arrived.

The force confirmed the victim, a man in his 20s, suffered minor injuries. Police added Kay suffered only minor harm and that those involved are believed to know each other.

A source told Filmogaz.com that people inside were locked in while the incident unfolded. One witness said patrons thought the attackers might have been waiting for the police.

Locals described The Runhead as a family-style pub in a residential area. The venue can hold around 200 people, and such violence was called out as very unusual.
