2025 Topps Chrome Sapphire MLS Soccer Card Details Revealed
Topps brings its Sapphire finish back to MLS for a second straight year in 2025. The line first appeared in 2021, paused for two seasons, and returned in 2024.
Hobby boxes use the familiar Sapphire format. Each box contains eight packs of four cards.
Product overview
The Sapphire edition updates the full 200-card 2025 MLS base set with a blue Chrome finish. Collectors will see premium parallels and autograph options throughout the release.
Parallels and inserts
Parallel tiers expand the visual range and scarcity. New and returning parallels include:
- Gold Sapphire — numbered to 50
- Orange Sapphire — numbered to 25
- Black Sapphire — numbered to 10
- Red Sapphire — numbered to 5
- Padparadscha Sapphire — numbered to 1
Base autographs mirror the parallel structure. Gold (/50) is a new addition compared with last year.
Topps also includes a Chrome insert in Sapphire boxes. Fast Lane inserts appear about one per four packs. These Fast Lane cards use the same parallel colorways listed above.
Sapphire-exclusive inserts are part of the checklist too. Sapphire Selections land roughly one in every 40 packs and are hard pulls. This year adds Orange (/25) to the Selections parallel set. Selections insert autographs come in Black (/10), Red (/5), and Superfractor 1/1 versions.
Horizontal Infinite Sapphire inserts are rarer still. Expect them once every 80 packs or about once per case. Superfractor 1/1 parallels appear for the first time in this insert line.
