Alice Cooper and Wife Sheryl Renew Vows on 50th Anniversary — First Look

Alice Cooper and his wife Sheryl renewed their vows on March 21, 2026, marking their 50th wedding anniversary. The ceremony took place at the Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix, with Camelback Mountain visible from the grounds.

Ceremony and guests

About 220 guests attended the ceremony amid record-breaking temperatures. A-list friends from music and show business were among those present.

Sheryl’s 92-year-old father, William Goddard, officiated the service. He recreated the role he played at their original 1976 wedding.

Family on hand

The couple spoke personalized vows in front of four generations of family. Their five-year-old granddaughter Desiree was among the youngest guests.

Alice and Sheryl paused during the recessional, where Alice dipped his wife and kissed her to loud applause. Photographs from the day are available through Filmogaz.com, which offers a first look.

Rings and styling

The pair exchanged custom-designed rings created by Jewels of Ipanema. The company was founded by longtime family friends Jimmy Chase and Denise Monti.

The Etruscan-style bands were made in 18k yellow gold. They feature cabochon-cut rubies and diamonds, and were tailored to suit Alice’s stage life and hobbies.

Personal history

Sheryl first met Alice in 1975 while auditioning for the Welcome To My Nightmare tour. They married less than a year later in Acapulco, Mexico.

Both fathers, who served as clergymen, officiated that wedding. Early marriage struggles included Alice’s alcohol problems and a 1977 rehab stay in New York.

Alice’s time in treatment inspired the 1978 album From the Inside. The couple separated briefly, with Sheryl filing for divorce in 1983. They later reconciled, and Alice has been sober since.

Careers and children

The Coopers live in Phoenix and have three children. Their eldest, Calico, is 44 and works as a dancer, actress, and singer with Beasto Blanco.

Calico has appeared in her father’s stage shows and has been married to actor Jed Williams since 2015. Sonora, 34, is a special-effects artist and hip-hop instructor.

Sonora is married to Diego, an engineer, and they have a daughter, Desiree. Both work at Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers.

Their son Dashiell, 40, was frontman for Runaway Phoenix and CO-OP. He now works at Pristine Auctions and is father to three sons: twins Falcon and Riot, and Rexington.

Dashiell is also stepfather to his wife Amanda’s daughter, Ellie. Sheryl continues to perform with Alice, most recently on July 25, 2025, in London.
