Crimson Desert: Complete Spire of Insight Puzzle Guide

The Spire of Insight is a tall stone tower that hides a multi-step puzzle. Solving its riddles grants access to an Abyss gate at the summit. You will collect objects, examine a giant book on each floor, and sometimes face goblins along the way.

Where to find the Spire

The tower sits southeast of Glenbright Manor. It is also south of Pororin. On the in-game map, look northeast of the “Steel Mountains” label.

The structure is visible from a distance. Walk toward it until it fills your screen.

How to get inside

The main entrance may be blocked by thorn growth. Fundamentalist goblins often patrol the area. Clear them before proceeding.

Remove the thorns with the Blinding Flash skill. Press LB/L1 and RB/R1 together on controller. On keyboard and mouse, use Ctrl plus left-click. Then focus the light by holding RB/R1 and pressing LB/L1 or Ctrl.

The door bears an inscription about the earth’s bones and time. A small pebble near the doorway unlocks the bowl on the door. Place the pebble in the bowl to open the Spire.

First floor: gravestone puzzle

Inside, a giant book sits above a large bowl. Interact with it to read a riddle about traces reviving forgotten tales. The page illustration points to a gravestone.

On the right side of the platform, find a gravestone resting on a desk. Pick it up and drop it into the bowl. The platform will transform into an elevator and carry you upward.

Second floor: records and vision

The book offers a clue about records and tools that look to distant places. Two items are required for this floor.

• Miniature telescope — located on a table to the right of the platform.
• Pen tip — found on a table by a window in a small room to the left.

Place both objects into the bowl. Remain on the platform as it ascends to the next level.

Third floor: celestial items

This riddle references the heavens, the Earth’s turning, and time. The illustrations guide you to three pieces.

• Map rotator / mini-globe — on a bookshelf to the right of the platform.
• Celestial item — tucked in the gap between bookshelves, beside a gold bar recipe.
• Sundial — on the northern bookshelf.

Return these items to the bowl. The lift will carry you to the tower’s top.

Summit and Abyss gate

The summit houses an Abyss gate. Activating it leads to the Chaos Forest puzzle within the Abyss. Prepare for additional challenges when you enter.
