St. Joseph’s plays at a slower tempo and defends efficiently on a per-possession basis. The Hawks struggle from three, ranking near the bottom nationally in percentage. California plays faster and shoots well from deep, giving them matchup advantages. Pick: California -5.5 and Under 149.5. Greg’s handicap: California -7 and Total 145.

9:45 PM ET — Texas Tech vs. Alabama

Texas Tech has shot about 41.5 percent from three over the past seven games without JT Toppin. For the season, they rank third nationally in 3-point percentage. Alabama takes the most shots from beyond the arc and plays at a top-five pace. Both teams have defensive inconsistencies. Pick: Alabama moneyline and Over 164.5.
