New England Honors International Women’s Day with Celebrations
International Women’s Day (IWD) 2026 celebrates 115 years of advocating for women’s rights and empowerment. With the theme “Give to Gain,” it underscores collective generosity and the idea that progress for women benefits everyone. Glen Innes Celebration
The Glen Innes Arts Council will present “Celebrate Women in Performance Art” on March 6 at The Chapel Theatre. Sapphire Collective will host an inclusive brunch on March 21 at Inverell RSM. This event unites community members and focuses on celebrating women’s contributions. Tickets are available for $69, with profits supporting Inverell Women’s Refuge.
