Motorist Blocks Road, Assaults Bystander

On March 1, 2023, an altercation involving a motorist blocking the road escalated into violence in Hai Phong City, Vietnam. The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 PM in the Giữa Lương Quy neighborhood of An Duong District. A truck driver, identified as L.X.T, attempted to navigate around a Mazda CX-5 that was blocking the roadway.

Incident Overview

The conflict began when L.X.T driving a truck with registration number 30L-395.58, encountered the parked Mazda with registration number 15K-019.46. As L.X.T maneuvered his vehicle to the right to allow the car to pass, a disagreement arose between the two drivers. This led to a physical confrontation.

Assault and Injuries

A group of individuals believed to be associated with the Mazda suddenly attacked L.X.T, resulting in significant injuries. The truck driver sustained trauma to his nose and required hospitalization at Viet Tiep Friendship Hospital in Hai Phong.

Law Enforcement Response

In response to the incident, the Hai Phong Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division launched an investigation. They quickly identified and summoned four individuals connected to the assault for questioning. The police are taking the necessary measures to ensure justice is served in accordance with the law.
