Team Faces Crows Showdown in Mandurah Duel

Fremantle is gearing up for an exciting showdown against the Adelaide Crows in Mandurah this Saturday. The match is part of the AAMI Community Series and will take place at Rushton Park, starting at 3:10 PM WST.

Limited Capacity for Fans

Ticket availability for the game is extremely limited. Fans are encouraged to secure their upgrades or tickets in advance to ensure attendance. Arriving early is also advised to avoid disappointment.

Team Updates and Player Returns

Fremantle has announced its extended squad for the match, with several key players returning. Jordan Clark, Shai Bolton, Luke Jackson, Jaeger O’Meara, and Caleb Serong are back in the lineup after representing their states in the AFL State of Origin match.

Unfortunately, skipper Alex Pearce will not play due to calf awareness issues. He joins Brennan Cox and Sam Switkowski on the sidelines as they recover from injuries.

Ruckman Situation

  • Sean Darcy will play limited minutes in a separate practice match against West Coast WAFL.

This decision allows him to manage his recovery from a calf strain while still contributing to the club’s preparations.

Crowd Expectations and Player Highlights

Fans will also have a chance to see new recruits Judd McVee and Mason Cox make their debut in purple after joining Fremantle in late 2025. Forward Josh Treacy will captain the team in Pearce’s absence.

Match Format and Broadcasting Details

The AAMI Community Series follows a structured format:

  • Four quarters, each lasting 20 minutes plus stoppage time.
  • A squad of 30 players, including 18 on the field and eight on interchange.
  • There will be a minimum of four players on the interchange bench at all times.

The match will also feature a full panel of AFL-appointed umpires. Fans can catch the action live on Foxtel and Kayo. Free general admission is available for club and AFL members, as well as children.

This match is critical for Fremantle as it serves as the final pre-season preparation before their Round 1 trip to Geelong on March 14. Don’t miss this exhilarating opportunity to witness the team face off against the Crows in Mandurah!
